Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and it's time to start thinking about gifts for your loved ones. While candy is a traditional and popular choice, it may not be the best option for everyone, especially for children. We want to share a unique and fun alternative - using Learning Resources Dinosaur Counters and our FREE Valentine's Day Card Printables.

Dinosaur Counters are small, plastic dinosaurs that come in a variety of different species and colors. They are not only fun to play with but also educational. They can be used for counting, sorting, and imaginative play. They are the perfect desk pet! 

• Free Printable Dinosaur Valentine's Day Cards (best printed on white cardstock)
• Dinosaur Counters 
• Scissors
• Hole punch
• Hot Glue
• String
• Pen / Marker

• Use the scissors to carefully cut along the outer edge of the border on each valentine's. This will create a clean edge and allow more space for the dinosaur.
• Address the Valentine's Day Cards
• Use the hole punch to punch through the paper above and below the dinosaur on the marked circles. 

• Pick out what Dinosaurs you want to use for each card and lay them out.
• Next, take one of the Dinosaur Counters and place a small dab of hot glue on the section of the dinosaur that will touch the paper. Be careful not to use too much glue, as this can make a mess and damage the dinosaur.
• Press the dinosaur firmly onto the valentine and hold it for a few seconds to allow the glue to set. Allow it to dry for a few minutes before moving on to the next step. The hot glue will peel off and not damage the dinosaur.

• Cut string or ribbon and thread it through the holes on the valentine. Tie a bow in the front to secure the dinosaur in place.
• Repeat this process for the remaining valentines
